A former New Jersey elementary school teacher accused of having a child with a teenage student was arraigned on Wednesday. Laura Caron, 34, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the student beginning as early as when the victim was 11-years-old. Caron, a 5th grade teacher at Middle Township Elementary School, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Payton Shires was an Ohio social worker assigned to mentor a 13-year-old boy. Within weeks, she started grooming him with gifts, money, and manipulation. Then, she started molesting him. In a bathroom. In the parking lot of a mall outside her car in broad daylight.
When the allegations surface, she claimed the boy raped her. When that didn't work, she bought a gun and tried to KILL the boy's mother.
This the bodycam of Columbus police and SWAT arrive to the victim's home with Payton waving a newly purchased gun and claiming she was the real victim.
